About 9Lives
9Lives is the Central Coast’s premiere live entertainment venue and is voted "Best Live Music Venue" by the readers of the Gikroy Dispatch. We are located just a few songs south of San Jose and we showcase the best local and regional performers. We also present national headliners on a regular basis.
Our 4,500 square foot venue can accomodate 300 guests and has been many things over the years. An auto repair shop, factory, beer distributor, multiple churchs, and most recently a live entertainment venue, it literally has had 9Lives . . .

Our goal at 9Lives is to make anyone that walks through our doors feel the positive energy and great vibe in the room. We have music inspired art on our Wall of Names, a great stage, the best sound and lighting systems in the region, an excellent staff plus a food menu with pizza, hot dogs and other great concert foods. Yes there is a bar! We serve a wide selection of beer, wine and specialty mixed drinks along with soft drinks.

Over the years many famous bands have performed on our stage. Montrose, L.A. Guns, Shane Dwight, Stealing Angels, Adler's Appetite, Lynch Mob, Evolution,. Abbey Road, AC/DZ, LedZepagain, Papa Wheelie and many others have rocked our walls and brought the fans to their feet. The venue has also hosted Papa Roach, Smash Mouth, Incubus, 311, Cake and several other bands when they were on their way up the charts. 9Lives continues that tradition today by showcasing great talent, both established stars and the new up-and-coming artists that will be tomorrow's superstars.
9Lives is located near the intersection of Sixth and Monterey Streets in Historic Downtown Gilroy, just a few songs south of San Jose or a few songs north of Monterey. There are hundreds of FREE parking spaces and several excellent restaurants within one block of the venue.
